What is a Nutrition Coach?

A Nutrition Coach has general nutrition and health knowledge to support clients in making positive life changes.  A nutrition coach/nutrition advisor works closely with clients to develop healthy eating habits based on individual health goals, lifestyle, and preferences, whilst working within the scope of the Australian Dietary Guidelines. However, a Nutrition Coach is not qualified to provide nutrition advice to adolescents, pregnant or breastfeeding women, those over 65 years of age, or those with underlying health conditions that require specific diets; this is where an Accredited Practicing Dietician's support should be sought.

Is one consultation all I need?

Change is not something that often happens overnight, particularly changes to diet. It is something we must work on together over time to make meaningful change and for you to feel empowered and confident to continue with what we have established. We need to monitor your progress and make changes along the way, so you continue to see results and positive changes.
